The entrance to Victoria Park in the west of Glasgow is currently looking very autumnal at the monent. The grand gates were created by Macfarlane's Saracen Foundry in Possilpark and were installed for the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1887.

There are many ways to break a heart but a clean smash is not the most painful. It’s the tiny paper cuts, the little cracks that grow over time that make you crumble. Pieces can be put back together with enough patience and glue but not if all you have left is a handful of dust.
