I've been wanting to try my hand at sashiko, a Japanese visible mending technique. Using a kit from Socorro Society on TikTok, I finally finished my first patch on the elbow of my denim jacket. It took around 4 hours I think. I'm really happy with it. Nice to try new things.

In a world that's moved past the marvelous novelty of dinosaurs being brought back to life exists a mundane and underfunded city zoo that only gets by thanks to the passion of its staff. An inspired & charming spin on Jurassic Park.
