Let’s Be Clear: The Rioting In LA Is By The Cops, Not The Protestors
I already wrote about the GOP’s bloodthirsty desire to use the military on Americans. They manufactured a nonsense “crisis” by over-aggressively sending in ICE agents to grab people off the streets, leading to protests, which were focused on provoking protestors into violence, which would then be used to justify an even more violent crackdown. Given that, it’s crucial to get actual reports from what’s actually happening on the street, rather than relying on questionable media framing by those not actually there.

So there I was, just minding my own business at the Wawa, pumping gas, biting my thumb, normal stuff, when this guy comes up and starts yelling about how I'm biting my thumb *at him*, and I'm like "no, bro, no. I'm biting my thumb, but I'm not biting my thumb at you, calm down"

“Knee surgery” is the hottest meme right now. Specifically the Grinch saying he has knee surgery tomorrow. There are dozens of blinch (blue grinch) knee surgery meme accounts on Instagram. This is what your children are doing

Hi new Bluesky users. Semi-annual reminder to follow my favorite part of this website: the Gift Links feed.

It shows any free link to an otherwise paywalled article that’s shared by anyone on Bluesky. It has legit changed how I read the news.

I am pretty sure the newest black keys single is just a terribly veiled rework of their own song ‘wild child’ which is itself a somewhat better disguised remake of “mind eraser”. anyway this band kicked ass up through their “brothers album” and I’m sad they’re out of new ideas

@kofie.bsky.social While many people on this platform mock ChatGPT, I instead choose to use it to rewrite Pauline epistles to be about the Detroit Pistons:

"For the tale of continuous defeats is folly to those who abandon hope, but to us who stand by the Pistons, it is the strength of resilience."
