We see here a self-styled "honest broker" with decades of experience in downplaying climate change presenting an age-old climate denial trope: using *annual* rainfall data as argument against an increase in *extreme* rainfall.

This is just so terribly sad. A marine ecosystem dying before our eyes.
Footage captured yesterday at Ardrossan, Yorke Peninsula, reveals more underwater impacts of SA's Harmful Algal Bloom.

With neon green water, the seabed was littered with dead and dying animals. There were also hundreds, if not thousands, of garfish on the seabed, some still alive.

The more we discover, the worse it gets. Now we learn the water companies wrote the guidance ensuring sewage sludge is not tested for the vast majority of contaminants before being spread on farmland. They gave themselves a free licence to dump hazardous waste. 🧵
