Frequently when people attack or vandalize or threaten synagogues they use the excuse the synagogue has recently had some event or said something that can be construed as Zionist as opposed to, you know, Jewish. Hard to sell for a place burned down a year ago.

Anti-zionist graffiti was discovered Sunday on a wall of the Pasadena Jewish Temple and Center, which has not yet been rebuilt after the Eaton fire in California.

I dont see how any of my fellow Jewish Americans can be more fearful of college students protesting about Palestine than they are of a militarized ICE stacked with avowed Hitler supporters
BREAKING: James Rodden, an ICE prosecutor who the Observer identified last year as the operator of an X account that posted “America is a White nation," “‘Migrants’ are all criminals,” and apparent praise of Adolf Hitler, appeared to be back at work Tuesday.

I’ve only seen posts about books in this feed, so I hope it’s okay to post about bookstores. Because there are two terrific stores in So. Cal: The Calico Cat in downtown Ventura, and Bart’s Books in Ojai. Bart’s is a Möbius strip of a store, indoors and out at the same time. #litfic #literaryfiction

Whatever’s in the Epstein files, it is so bad for Donald Trump that he’s chosen to distract the public from his failure to comply with the law compelling disclosure by having ICE shoot young mothers. That’s bad. Don’t let him get away with it.

The message from the White House this morning is that, once again, it falls on ordinary American citizens to remain calm and professional when dealing with the heavily armed agents of the government because they are very emotional and might fly off into a murderous rage at the slightest insult.

After federal troops forced a fugitive slave named Anthony Burns back into slavery in the 1850s, one Bostonian wrote, “we went to bed one night old-fashioned, conservative, Compromise Union Whigs and waked up stark mad Abolitionists.” The abuse of power radicalizes people. We are seeing that now.

“Of the 1,500 or so [Jan. 6] offenders who received pardons, roughly 600 had been charged with assaulting or obstructing police officers, and 170 had been accused of using deadly weapons in the siege.”

Trump doesn’t back the blue. He supports thuggery and intimidation. That’s why he backs ICE.
MAGA’s Foundational Lie
The movement claims to stand with the police. Trump’s decision to pardon the cop-beaters of January 6 exposed his movement for what it is.

Renee Good should still be here.

She was a beloved child of God, with inherent value and infinite worth.

She was murdered by her own government in broad daylight in what is supposed to be the greatest democracy on the planet.

This week: we execute a U.S. citizen.

Next week: we take over elections to stop “fraud.”

It's so transparent what's going on here.

This is exactly right. She smiled at him and said she wasn’t angry with him. She wouldn’t cower, and that both exposed and enraged him.
He didn't shoot her in the head at point blank range because he felt like he was in danger. He shot her in the head at point blank range because he was furious that she wasn't afraid of him. He shot her in the head at point blank range because he felt emasculated.

Bad take of the day. There’s no prohibition on LE knocking on doors. What they can’t do (most of the time) is enter a home without a warrant.

I’m as outraged as the next person at the murder in Minneapolis and at ICE’s storm trooper tactics. Don’t let that lead you into bad takes like this.
Um, you're not allowed to go door-to-door hoping to randomly find someone violating the law. You need a warrant. That's is basic Constitutional shit.
JD Vance: "It was a legitimate law enforcement operation. We were going door to door to try to find criminal illegal aliens and deport them from the United States ... say a prayer for that agent ... he deserves a debt of gratitude."
