They need to get back together… and leave us alone
So Olivia Nuzzi is clearly a piece of shit who can never work in journalism again after this.

And, also, Ryan Lizza is clearly a piece of shit who should never work in journalism again after this either.

We're all agree on that, right?

I don't know how I've missed it because it's *right on the documentation home page*, but if you use {glue} for nice string interpolation in #rstats and you have {stringr} loaded (likely through the tidyverse), you can use str_glue() instead of glue::glue() or loading library(glue) glue.tidyverse.org

You know how the joke is "every map of Chicago is the same;" I feel that's even more true of Germany.
This hex-map breaks down the share of 15-24 year-olds in Germany and the regional contrast is hard to miss.

Eastern Germany shows much lower shares except for larger cities, while many western and southern areas have noticeably more young people.

Some important data about making inclusionary zoning work

Among other things: the per-unit (below market) tax abatement subsidy (using Portland's model) is less than public cost to directly fund a comparably priced unit in, for ex, an all affordable development. And it's driving results

Terrific conversation here with one of my former students who's just published a brilliant book on how Colorado Springs became the "evangelical Vatican" and what came next.

Check it out!
How did Colorado Springs become the epicenter of evangelical capitalism? What's the link between the Air Force and Christian Conservatism? And how did Donald Trump become the Prayer Warrior In Chief? That's what Will Schultz and I are reckoning with this morning. Links below.

We all have jobs, but miss me with these articles of agents lamenting forcibly tearing families apart *while they’re actively doing so*. The entire point of ethical courage is to not do this monstrous shit. It’s to not fall on,”I’m just following orders.” They didn’t have to do this. Still did, tho.
