There is a fellow transguy in this hostel, and I don't want to yuck anyone's aesthetic yum or whatever, but I do feel obliged to point out that if you are 4'11" you prob can't get away with men's size 8 shoes. Your swagger will benefit if you wear something that fits a little better.

I keep wondering how long it will take the "we should always listen to science" people to ask things like "who has paid to do the science" and "who is telling us about the science" or god forbid "how do I choose between this science and that science"
This is completely disgusting. Today, the CDC updated their vaccine safety page. It now says:

The actual takeaway from Amwerica’s historical experience is that we must not assume directionality in history at all. There is no arc, and there definitely is no ironclad law of the universe that says “We” can’t slide back – or slide forward into a new kind of authoritarianism.
