James Cameron Net Worth $1.1 billion dollars.

Amount he's given through Avatar Foundation grants: $660,000.

That is $0.06 of his wealth that he gives to the environment and sometimes Indigenous people, when he feels like it. Yep.

The man who stopped one of the Bondi Beach shooters is Ahmed El Ahmad, a Muslim man and 43 year old father of two.

He risked his life to save others, and reminded all of us that not all heroes wear capes.

He was shot twice and is in the hospital having surgery.

Please remember this man’s name.

Sam Altman: hey I made a machine that stole literally all your stuff in order to make CSAM of your child actors, sometimes it encourages people to kill themselves

Disney: Holy shit here's a billion dollars

Altman: the machine loses more than that each week but thank you. Soon it will become god.

Just a reminder that ICE didn't exist until 2002. It's not some longstanding institution that must be maintained. It was created as a knee-jerk reaction to 9/11, and it could be gotten rid of as easily as it was created.

Same. it’s breaking my heart
And what makes it so damn rough? what really fucking kills me about how hard and tiring and infuriating this all is? is that when I'm in a classroom, hearing their thoughts, watching them work out new ideas in new contexts and conversations, there's damn near nowhere I would rather be.

This should be the biggest story in the country right now. The sitting US President was extorting state lawmakers from his own party by threatening to withhold public money if they didn’t gerrymander for him.

I don’t know how else to say it…

the complete lack of systematic, negative consequences for elites who cheered us into a bad iraq war of aggression, a deadly fraud on the american people, contributed to us being where we are now. about to launch another war of aggression.

I can’t understand a politician watching Trumps speech and your takeaway attack message is that he “didn’t say anything.” The Democrats are fundamentally broken on this front. They’re winning by default but are set up to lose the long fight.

People keep wondering why they're going after Venezuela. It's because they want to do regime change and control its oil, then use a big tract of land there to keep a tax free "network state" that looks like Dubai but operates like Rhodesia. They are saying this out loud! Believe them!

The Supreme Court, Presidency, Senate and two party system are all quite anti-democratic institutions as presently constructed.

Our institutions are not only incapable of preventing tyranny—they’re currently enabling it.

When democracy returns, we need to reform our political system.

and there you have it folks: the real reason Hollywood is dying: mergers.

it wasn't the strikes. it wasn't DEI.

these mergers are killing our jobs, killing our pipelines, killing our creativity, our product, our income. everything.

we're at the endgame. it's up to us to find alternatives now.

It's good—very good, and very important—that district courts keep issuing these 100-page rulings upholding the law. It must be incredibly dispiriting to see them overturned in a two-page, lawless, unsigned order, but please, keep them coming. They expose SCOTUS' corruption like nothing else.
