A large batch of people have followed me over the past day. Thank you so much! Allow me to introduce myself.

I'm Matt and I'm a political scientist. I earned my Ph.D. in 2023 and now work at a teaching university. I focus on state and local politics as well as public administration.
We're watching in real time what happens when we have people in charge that hate diversity. It's tearing everything apart where no one will come out ahead.

Van Jones trying to position himself as the middleman between Republicans and Democrats is hilarious.

Republicans have hated him since he was the Green Jobs Czar and Democrats don't trust him lol

Who's his content for?

The reason I'm saying this is because 53 of the 100 seats in the Kentucky House legislature only has candidates running from one party, meaning the primary in May is the election for many of these seats.

That is deeply concerning for democracy.
If the local Democratic parties aren't trying to build the party and run someone against the Republican, ask them why and what they're doing.

There's going to be a significant number of unopposed elections, especially in state politics.

Rural areas do not have to be lost causes.

Oh wow what a finish

What's refreshing about watching NASCAR's biggest race is that I've not seen sports betting ads plastered everywhere like in other sports.

I'll probably not keep up with NASCAR, but that's a good thing.

That dude slid across that Daytona grass like he was a curling stone

ESPN if you can categorize the men's college sports to find games you can do it for women too instead of lumping them all together

I hope Murray State women's basketball is a spoiler team in the tournament this year. They're pretty damn good and lost only one game since November.

Jimmy Johnson there's no reason for you to be racing anymore. You have seven titles. If you're gonna drive take a road trip across America.

They got that New Japan Pro Wrestling table.

What do you mean we could've had a Joe Dante-directed James Bond movie with The World is Not Enough???

Why have ChatGPT tell you to take your life when you can have the government do it

I need to see his internal polling because there's no fucking way.

It's incredibly easy for me to say I will never vote for Stephen A. Smith. There's no "never say never." N E V E R.
Stephen A. Smith tells CBS News’s Robert Costa that he is moving closer to a 2028 Presidential campaign, in an interview to air Sunday.

So cable doesn't have a Groundhog Day marathon nor a Friday the 13th marathon?

No wonder they're in the tank.

One comment earlier was saying I'm trying to raise my social media profile because I have an opinion about online political grifters.

Not everyone is trying to make a career out of social media. I already have a career and love it. I don't need to chase algorithms and outrage.

What social media should really be discussing.

Keith Edwards got his ass owned on Threads for the past few days so now he's over here.
February 13, 2026 at 3:20 PM
Hilarious that you're searching yourself when I didn't tag you, presumably to have your fans attack me. But since you want to have this discussion, lets.

What qualifies you to be paid consultancy fees for anything in politics then?

And I didn't act like shit. Don't put words into my mouth.
I was basically a production assistant for Mike Bloomberg. Absolutely zero authority or power! Was just there to make money and learn.

You act like I was his senior strategist.
He worked for Michael Bloomberg and lost a primary to former Republican Charlie Crist when he worked for Nikki Fried.

Let’s be for real.

Keith Edwards is 100% a lib grifter btw. It took me two seconds to clock him after learning about who he is.

Merch seller, no real success as “consultant,” talking about virality of his videos constantly.

Now he’s denigrating Black women creators and hates to be called out when there’s proof.
When we migrated over to Bluesky, we had an opportunity to not allow those lib grift accounts like Mueller She Wrote get any traction.

We failed.

I went down a rabbit hole I shouldn't have done.

Because why is Playboy doing dumbshit articles like "What to get your AI Lover for Valentine's Day"

Political scientists: people are ignorant when it comes to politics. Unbelievably so.

People that get shocked by polls like this:

The Land Before Time
Back to the Future III
The Shadow
A Goofy Movie
The Cable Guy

And for shits and giggles:

Madame Web
Have asked this before and always like the responses. What are your biggest “I saw that in the first run cinema” flexes? Couple of mine:

Transformers: The Movie (1986)
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993)
Office Space (1999)
