It may sound radical, but if one guy has so much wealth and power that he can use the large newspaper he owns to publicly threaten to ruin a service we all rely on, presumably as a bargaining tactic to get lower rates, we probably need to tax that guy until he can't do that anymore.

Everyone is getting upset about the data centers. They pollute a lot and use a lot of energy and will eventually be very ugly/huge vacant buildings. And I understand being mad about that. Until you consider the state of the lazer tag industry at this moment, and how much help that sector needs.

So to recap, the U.S. and UK govs have led an unrelenting international effort to erase trans people from public life and the impact is hard to fathom legally, functionally, and mentally in one skeet. Every person who died this year is a cursing reminder that our leaders have fundamentally failed us
And let me say this, I write the same goddamn day of remembrance story for Japanese American incarceration every year and those things stay relevant each year by adapting the message every year to whatever fresh hell the federal government has cooked up. I think TDOR has A LOT to say this year.
