This is the genius of the Portland protests - they make the claims of lawlessness look not just wrong, but comical
The following is REAL footage from Portland, 2025. Viewer discretion is advised.

Each day, they could just discuss the details of one (1) former Republican who was arrested for sex trafficking, pedophilia, or some related scandal.

If they're going to shut down Congress for this, fill the silence with these news stories. Make it unavoidable.
I am being completely serious when I say that Democrats in Congress should be planning daily press conferences between now and September asking why Republicans are refusing to do their jobs to protect the country’s most famous pedophile who was also best friends with the leader of their party

good read. the pop-up night markets are good. But the Bay Area needs to attract and keep more young people. Housing is first. Nightlife with accessible transit is maybe second.
Young people arent going in the Bay Area, killing nightlife. But young people ARE out in many cities and we do have a few examples of successful vibrancy in the Bay. It's time for merchants and planners to update their commercial areas for modern times.

I suggest you watch The Briefing with Jen Psaki tonight. She goes through a montage of how idiotically terrible he is speaking. It may not be classical dementia, but it is far from normal aging.

Allison Riggs was confirmed the winner of the NC State Supreme Court election, and Griffin finally conceded; seems he didn't want to risk taking it all the way up to SCOTUS. Just case anybody missed that bit of good news out of NC.
