These ridiculous mega-projects like "datacenters in space" (doomed by thermodynamics) make a LOT more sense when you realize they're massive Ponzi schemes designed to transfer wealth from pension funds to VC's through "fee stacking."

It's the old Assets Under Management con. It should be illegal.
“.. Skeptics believe the technical risks are being underestimated and say space-based data centers won’t be competitive on cost, especially if power and other constraints ease on the ground.”

Republicans are more willing because this continues to spin the American healthcare system away from the actual solution, which is Medicare For All. Democrats are "dug in" because you're suggesting things that don't actually fix the problem. A pig in lipstick is still a pig, and this bill stinks.

Laura obviously knows better. She was just hoping the base is stupid enough to believe this.

Laura would be OK with crashing the economy, (she'll be fine) if it means wiping every bit of melanin out of the American citizenry.

🧵This is the narco Trump just pardoned.

The former president of Honduras transformed Honduras into a virtual narco-state.

He financed his political career with drug trafficking proceeds.

Used his presidential authority to pave a cocaine superhighway to the US, and Trump just set him free.

Pete Hegseth says he’s going to court-martial me for saying the same exact thing he said 9 years ago. What changed for Pete? Well to start, he spends all day thinking about how he can suck up to Trump. When Trump says jump, he says how high.

Wow.

"It gives me no pleasure to say what I’m about to say because I worked with Pete Hegseth for seven or eight years at Fox News. This is an act of a war crime .... There’s absolutely no legal basis for it.”

Woah. Newsmax’s legal analyst just said Pete Hegseth and everyone involved in the illegal boat strike should be “prosecuted for a war crime.”

They’ve even lost Newsmax on this one.

When are you going to report this isn't about a peace settlement, it's about a business deal. The WSJ knows. The language being used, the conditions involved, indeed the people involved, tell us that this is not about durable peace. There's no George Mitchell here. It's a corruption scheme.

Soon small businesses won’t have to wait for Small Business Saturday to get attention from their Mayor.

Some changes that they can look forward to:

One of those taken for granted items. NEPA isn’t red tape. It’s how we make sure progress doesn’t erase our environment, our history, or our communities. NEPA makes big decisions transparent: study the impacts, hear the public, protect what can’t be replaced. That’s not delay—that’s accountability.

Let’s be clear: I’m all for permitting reform & modernizing our infrastructure. I’m not for gutting environmental laws & the rights of our frontline communities.

NEPA exists to make sure there’s a backstop to protect our lands, waters, sacred sites, and communities.
