A coworker took this from her apartment. I haven't seen a crowd this size before. Maybe the first Women's March? But it was much much warmer that day. ICE OUT OF MINNESOTA!

The right will never ever hand it to you on a single fucking thing even if they secretly agree with it. They will contort themselves into shapes that do not exist and spite themselves and destroy their own families just to fuck you over. Insane to me that people don't know this yet.
Listen, I'm as liberal as they come, but they have a point that...
NO THEY DO NOT SHUT THE FUCK UP.
Exactly. This whole thing is liberals trying to be high minded and handing it, somewhat, to their enemies. Their enemies will gladly take that fracture you’ve opened and exploit the hell out of it!

Child care providers make it possible for parents to work & kids to thrive. But this administration is cruelly targeting providers, children and working parents to settle a political score. We just filed a lawsuit to protect this funding and help families afford care. www.afscme.org/press/releas...

A federal judge ruled Friday that President Trump's administration must keep federal funds flowing to child care subsidies and other social service programs in Minnesota and four other Democratic states.
Judge says Trump administration must keep funding child care subsidies in 5 states for now
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services said earlier this month that it was pausing the funding because it had "reason to believe" the states were granting benefits to people in the country illegally, though it did not provide evidence or explain why it was targeting those states and not others.

There is a through line between the conservative parents’ rights movement to ICE attacking children in the streets.

The white supremacist argument that “we should be able to treat OUR children however we want” very quickly turns into “we should be able to treat YOUR children however we want.”

Pronatalism is fascism. There is no liberal pronatalism, only people who do not realize (willfully or naively) they are laundering fascist ideology.

My Instagram feed is just videos of regular people in bitter cold trying to prevent children from being kidnapped even AFTER showing their proof of citizenship in 2 I saw today.

I don’t what else it will take to abolish what has become a child trafficking outfit.

"Kidnapping? We like to think of it as carenapping"
ICE spokesperson Marcos Charles: "My officers stayed with the child. They cared for him. Took him to get something to eat from a drive-thru restaurant and spent hours ensuring he was taken care of. Again, my officers did that, not his father ... his family refused to open the door and take him back"

There's a Christian nationalist cult that teaches that empathy is a sin because liberals wield it manipulatively to turn you against what is most important, which is caring only for people who look like you. That is the philosophy that allows them to use a child as bait and refer to him as "it."
"They used a child to appeal to the most innate and essentially human impulse to show care, concern and protect — to capture those who care for him. They weaponized decency, the last incorruptible defense we have against absolute misery and evil"

I'm really interested in this choice to go with a protecting sex offenders narrative while the Trump admin is being criticized even by devotees for covering up the Epstein files. Is this a narrative they think they can reclaim? Are they right?
Vance in MN: "It's really cold outside. We in the Trump administration want to deport criminal aliens who are sex offenders. It takes a certain level of committed to sex offender criminal aliens to stand outside in -40 temperatures and attack the vice president, but they're committed to the bit."

As slavery exhibits are removed in Philadelphia, and scholars like Lisa Cook are targeted in ways that threaten independent economic research and policy; good people must be reminded that arc of the moral universe doesn’t bend toward justice on its own—it bends in the direction that we push it.
