Walz: If you say you love freedom but you don't believe freedom is for everybody, then the thing you love is not freedom, it is privilege.

"We owe each other everything actually" is exactly the reminder I think we all need right now.
if the united states ever has even a hope of recovering we have to destroy the idea of american individualism. "they don't owe you anything" we owe each other everything actually

Not being allowed to hand water to people in line to vote no matter who they are voting for, while being allowed to hand people million dollar checks to get their vote, is the most American thing ever.

We tamed the beast of electromagnetism and created a machine which spreads across continents.

It's our greatest human achievement and it should be cherished, nurtured, respected, and loved.

TIL that when my mom first saw a cyber truck, she thought someone had just welded some sheet metal together to make their own car. She persists in calling it the DIY car and now I will too

Okay it may seem bad that Meta appropriated the entirety of the written word without compensating or even consulting with any writers, but consider what the world got out of it: a thing you accidentally tap in Instagram

Apple just paused its AI LLM Siri upgrade indefinitely.

The writing is on the wall.
iPhone sales are down after they focus on AI instead of something people want. But Microsoft went all in on AI for Windows 11, they must be doing well—

They’re losing market share to windows 10, their own operating system that’s 9 years old.

I think every designer should write a love letter to a font at least once in their lifetime.

This is mine: A 150-year-old font you have likely never heard of, and one you probably saw earlier today.
