One thing that's really heartening to me is the response to Palestine. When I first came of political consciousness, Palestinian self determination was all but a toxic issue, condoned by extremists and whack jobs. As awful as everything now is, the world is FAST changing. Falastin, hurra!

While I dont disagree that online poisoning contributes to stochastic violence; i would point out that this does not happen anywhere near as much in other countries, and perhaps it would be worth it to investigate why.

We don't really know anything about the shooter. Entirely possible this was a veteran I guess but nothing I've seen so far suggests that over, for example, a competent hunter.
Could be an AR but just as likely it was a bolt action in something like .270 (in other words, a deer rifle)

I really wish people here understood that while trump may have won, that does not mean what he's doing and what he's doing is good progressive policy.
