Hey @jd-vance-1.bsky.social, can you please tell us more about how free speech is threatened in Europe?
Trump posts early on Christmas Eve: "If Network NEWSCASTS, and their Late Night Shows, are almost 100% Negative to President Donald J. Trump, MAGA, and the Republican Party, shouldn’t their very valuable Broadcast Licenses be terminated? I say, YES!"

Anyone can read the redactions of the Epstein Files by just copying and pasting them into a word doc. The people at Trump's Justice Department are so stupid they used Adobe Acrobat to black out the documents.

All of Ukraine is currently covered with hundreds of Russian drones and missiles.
It's impossible to have sufficient "air defense."
Ukraine needs thousands of long-range offensive weapons to destroy Russian military bases.

Denmark: Ukrainian military has been tasked with protecting this week's EU summit in Copenhagen from Russian drones.
The emergency summit was called by von der Leyen because Europe can no longer rely on NATO for its security.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen — a former German defense minister, sure seems to think that NATO is dead.
She is holding a summit on Wednesday to begin militarization of the European Union as an institution.

The fact that Trump allowed Israeli strikes on Qatar right after Qatar gifted him a plane just shows again that trying to appease authoritarian figures like Trump doesn’t work.

@vonderleyen.ec.europa.eu Ursula you have to resign after this. You do not have what it takes to be effective in this situation. You have confirmed Putin and Trump’s view the EU is irrelevant. And to our internal critics like Orban and Fico, you gave another reason to cosy up to neared strong man.

3/5 We must act like we understand this war will last for years.

That means:

- Long-term orders of heavy equipment for Ukraine
- Relaunching production lines
- Supplying Ukraine with SAMP/T batteries and Aster interceptors
- Investing even more in Ukraine’s defense industry
