@baldwin.senate.gov on the Capitol steps with people who will be hurt by this bill. She is right: the Big Beautiful Betrayal would be devastating for the health of children.

1 in 3 kids count on Medicaid for their care.

The GOP’s mega-budget bill isn’t just cruel—it’s a giveaway to Wall Street at the expense of Main Street. Slashing Medicaid, education, and climate investments will gut local economies and small businesses across America. We need budgets that build, not break us.

Essential government work is being dismantled under the guise of streamlining. But the real result? We’re less prepared, less informed, and less protected.

DAILY DEMS DOING THE WORK, MAKING NOISE, AND FIGHTING BACK Day 65

OK, this is going to be quick because I’m exhausted, not as exhausted as @booker.senate.gov though. And it’s later than usual.

But Booker wasn’t the only one who created good trouble today. Not by a longshot.

You can't cut the amount necessary to pay for Donald Trump's deficit-exploding tax cuts for the wealthy without cutting Medicaid. Full stop.

The poor get sicker and the rich get richer -- that's Republicans plan for America.

I joined colleagues to highlight the many lies and imaginary numbers in Trump’s address.

For example, Social Security makes payments to 72 million Americans each year, and less than 1% of those payments have ever been found to be improper (some were too small!).

Silicon Valley's methodology of engineering is to build as fast as possible, break it, patch it, break it again and so on... that's why software always has to have patches.

It's the same way Musk builds cars and rockets.

It's exactly what he's doing to our country. Some things can't be patched.

Brittany Pettersen (CO-07) delivered this week’s “Weekly Dem Address” and if this doesn’t go viral, something is seriously wrong.

She talks about what the Republican budget proposal will do to families across America while holding her one month old Sam.

Musk’s status as a “special government employee” limits him to 130 days in the executive branch. However, despite working daily—documented by his own X posts—they claim he only works one day a week, effectively stretching his limit to 130 weeks. This needs to be brought to Congress—please share.

A defining policy battle is about to come to a head in this country. The Republican budget will force everyone - especially Congress and the White House - to make plain whether they are prepared to harm the rest of us in order to fund tax cuts for the wealthiest.
