Congresswoman proudly representing the First District of Nevada in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Trailblazer, advocate, and icon are just a few words to describe Reverend Jesse Jackson who ushered in a new era for the Civil Rights movement. It is now our job to ensure that his legacy lives on for future generations. May he rest in power.

Protecting pets during disasters is not just compassionate, it is also responsible.
As an original supporter of the bipartisan and bicameral PETSAFE Act, I am advancing a practical, lifesaving approach that helps families evacuate safely without leaving their furry friends behind.

Litigation will only cost taxpayers in the Colorado River Basin states more money. They must come to a fair agreement for post-2026 operations that safeguards our water future and our livelihoods.

The Colorado River needs a Hail Mary, with time and snow in record short supply
Lake Mead is in trouble, too, with record low snowpack in the Rocky Mountains. Southern Nevada should pay attention.

Today I testified at the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee in support of my PRESUME Act. This legislation would dismantle bureaucratic barriers to critical health care services for our atomic veterans who have wrongfully been subjected to a double standard.

Today I joined @indivisiblelasvegas.org in Henderson for #FightFascismFriday. POTUS continues to illegally dismantle our agencies, violate our rights, and wreak havoc on our communities. We must stand together against these actions of a want-to-be dictator.

The #LasVegasRecoveryHospital, Southern Nevada’s first integrated acute medical and addiction recovery institution, opened today. This marks a significant milestone for our health care infrastructure #OnlyinDistrictOne.

2025 was the year of the #TrumpSlump with visitation to Las Vegas down 7.5%. POTUS is killing our tourism economy, as he discourages international travelers and raises costs here at home.

Las Vegas closes books on 2025, visitation down 7.5%
Nearly every Las Vegas tourism metric was off in 2025, but local experts are saying better times are ahead this year with big trade shows along with special events.

#TeamTitus attended CCSD’s 2026 State of the District presented by Superintendent Jhone Ebert. It is critical that we continue investing in public education ensuring that every young person has access to the resources they need to learn and grow.

The tragic crash over the Potomac near DCA that claimed 67 lives occurred one year ago today. As a senior member of
@transportdems.bsky.social, I am working to implement policies to prevent another horrific accident like this one.

I secured $2 million for critical tram upgrades at Harry Reid International Airport. This funding will enhance the safety, reliability, and energy efficiency of trams in Terminal 1, ensuring passengers get to where they need to be.

Under Secretary Noem’s leadership, ICE has terrorized our communities and violated the rights of American citizens.

I’m co-sponsoring a bill to impeach her now.
January 26, 2026 at 8:24 PM
Last week, I voted against funding ICE. Now it's up to the Senate to do the same and prevent agents from further terrorizing our communities.
Federal agents in Minneapolis wrestled Alex Pretti to the ground and secured the handgun he was carrying moments before shooting him multiple times, according to a Washington Post analysis of video footage.

Another senseless and tragic death that could have been avoided if POTUS had removed ICE from Minneapolis.

ICE agents are behaving more like secret police by rounding up innocent people, asking for papers, and ignoring the rights of American citizens.

This must end now.
Federal agents fatally shot a man Saturday morning in south Minneapolis, setting off confrontations between protesters and agents at the scene.

It was the second fatal shooting involving federal agents who have swarmed Minnesota as part of a massive immigration enforcement operation.

In just one year, POTUS dismantled educational opportunities for our most vulnerable, stifled our tourism economy, increased health care costs, and tarnished our relationships with our closest allies. ⬇️
January 20, 2026 at 5:01 PM
I am supporting Congresswoman Robin Kelly’s effort to impeach Secretary Kristi Noem. Under Secretary Noem’s leadership, the Department of Homeland Security has terrorized communities across the country, incited unnecessary violence and fear, and unlawfully targeted American citizens.
January 14, 2026 at 9:24 PM
Cruel and heartless. Millions of Americans now face a higher risk of addiction relapse, self-harm, and death because of the cancellation of these grants. Many front-line programs that provide mental health resources to our most vulnerable communities are being forced to close.
January 14, 2026 at 7:41 PM
I am demanding POTUS turn over any materials pertaining to the status of Greenland. By threatening force against a NATO
member, Trump has already broken Article 1 of the North Atlantic Treaty.
January 14, 2026 at 6:54 PM
Refusing the full release of the Epstein files, limiting press credentials at the Pentagon, and now utilizing The Justice Department to target and punish a reporter for doing her job - as the “most transparent Administration in U.S. history,” POTUS and his colleagues sure have a lot to hide.

I am proud that my Combating Organized Retail Crime Act has passed out of committee and is now on its way to the House floor. This legislation will help law enforcement better pursue and prosecute bad actors, while protecting businesses and saving consumer dollars.
