My wife is an elementary gifted ed specialist. The idea that gifted kids either don't exist or don't benefit from gifted education services is both wrong and harmful to those kids. Phasing out gifted programs is stupid. www.nytimes.com/2025/10/02/n...

I'm really not seeing this at all. Ever since Trump got elected the left wing circles I'm in have really embraced the idea of being woke.
the right are incredibly effective at shaming the left into submission, even the hardest leftist seem to be embarrassed at the idea of being 'woke' these days, even though it's the correct thing to be, even if it's annoying.
The "preachy vegan" stereotype was so effective at shaming people out of making a completely valid argument, hard not to believe that was what it was designed for
