Democrat’s adherence to norms is a Kobayashi Maru problem. 1) scrupulously adhere to norms, no one cares and GOP justifies their own norm breaking. 2) ignore norms, norms are degraded and the GOP justifies doing what they were going to do anyway. We’re f’d either way.

For me, the thing that knocked the wind out of me with this election is that I dared to believe America would get it right THIS time, that America was ready for a Woman President.

When I think about Joe & Mika appeasing Trump so they can maintain their comfy lives, I think about Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss enduring years of harassment for simply doing their jobs.
