The news from Oklahoma and Nebraska is so depressing. The US public university system is one of the greatest achievements of the 20th century, created to democratize liberal arts education, and it's being destroyed by greedy people who think only the rich are deserving of such learning.

Regardless of whether Dems get control in 2028, Europe can't afford to ever count on the US again. Not when everything can go to hell in the US with each presidential election. They have to stand up to Putin on their own. They should have started getting prepared after Trump 1st admin, but didn't.
