The best way journalists can support indie games is to cover more than whatever the current indie hits/darlings of the moment are. Games like Hades, Blue Prince, and Silksong do not need help with visibility, but discoverability is the biggest challenge facing many indie devs today.

becoming more & more annoyed with game trailers that are all cinematic & show very little or no gameplay. Why would I play your game if I don't know how it plays? To me, it feels almost like you don't believe your game stands on its own, like you need to hide it behind a cinematic trailer.
