I love Daredevil, but I had to suspend disbelief over the premise of Born Again re. Mayor Kingpin. The idea that voters would knowingly elect a convicted criminal who then subverts the rule of law and uses government to carry out personal vendettas seems a little far-fetched, doesn't it?

Disability is not a moral failing. It’s not a punishment.
It’s simply part of being human. If you live long enough, you will likely experience some kind of disability. It’s one of the only minority groups you can join at any time.

So, most of us know the "let them" theory by now, but I think we need a "let yourself" theory too.
If you're having a bad time mentally and all you can do is sit on the couch and scroll on your phone... let yourself (without guilt)

It's weird as a biologist to say "ignore the science part" but here we are
Science: Vaccines don't cause autism.
BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER. If vaccines caused autism I would still recommend them. Dying of preventable disease is bad. Autism isn't a disease and most of the "bad" of autism is society.

I've been losing a lot of my local friends & community over the years. We didn't have any fights. They decided to stop responding to my messages & distance from me. It all started when I couldn't hide my disabilities. Many told me they'd love to hang out when I'm healthy again.

RFK Jr is saying that "autism is destroying our kids." Autism didn't destroy me, but ableism almost did, and eugenics/the mainstreaming of disinformation certainly threaten to.
