Never mind the fact the Coalition’s nuclear proposal is a fantasy – it doesn’t even claim to reduce power bills
Experts and agencies have overwhelmingly deemed the plan not to be credible. And burning more coal and gas in the medium term only leads one way

This is such a good point. I wish I had made it myself.
Tingle is half right here. Spud doesn't need to play the voters for mugs; that's not who these 'costings' are for.

They're aimed squarely at our political media who are hungry for a fig-leaf to allow them to deploy their trademark 'both-sides' journalism.

Will they fall for it? Of course.
There's something spookily familiar about how Dutton handled his nuclear plan
The opposition finally unveiled its much-promised nuclear energy costings yesterday. It will be hoping Labor continues to prove it is not very good at politics.

This should go down as one of those batshit moments in Australian political history..

Dutton has no idea, the LNP are not worthy of a single Australian vote with this type of idiocy, mistruth, poor science or even real life experiences.

Coalition's nuclear costs effectively comparing apples and elephants
In the world of comparing apples and oranges, the Coalition's claim that its nuclear plan would be hundreds of billions cheaper than Labor's looks to have come from comparing apples and elephants.
