Imagining a SNL skit where AG Pam Bondi is visited by ghosts of the Nixon circle (G. Gordon Liddy, H.R. Haldeman, and John Mitchell) á la "A Christmas Carol ", and Mitchell says, sheesh Pam, I didn't do half this much and I went to Federal prison!

The Padilla detainment is awful but don’t miss that Noem promised to “liberate” California from the elected officials they chose.
Kristi Noem: "We are not going away. We are staying here to liberate the city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership that this governor and that this mayor have placed on this country and what they have tried to insert into the city."

Sen. Alex Padilla is then forcibly removed!

I know these comparisons are tiring but:

Imagine if the Secret Service and FBi wrestled Tom Cotton or Josh Hawley to the ground and cuffed them for interrupting Sec. Mayorkas speaking at a press conference?! The impeachment articles would fly!

And in fact, they DID impeach Mayorkas for less….
“You can’t even see Kristi Noem in the video….This notion that he was some physical threat to her is just absurd…It’s sick, and it’s hard to even dignify what Mike Johnson said with a response.” - @timmiller.bsky.social

The video was made in...during a protest against farm murders after two people were killed...The crosses did not mark actual graves"

Trump officials admitted to an “administrative error” when they deported Abrego Garcia — a legal resident with no criminal record.

A judge ordered Garcia be returned, but Trump is fighting it in court.

Garcia now sits in a prison in El Salvador.

The cruelty is staggering.

No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief.
