When people say "We used to drink raw milk from our own cow and it was fine,"

That's... usually not the case!

In families w their own cow, the mom usually boiled it before using.

We just forgot bc that's a boring chore that mom did. And who pays attention to that?

Myra, completely sober, unbothered by the fireworks.

It is 100% carrying water for the opposition to participate in this collective delusion that Dems for some reason need to answer for every teen who throws a rock rather than hold the Trump admin accountable for intentionally creating chaos and breaking the law to stoke violence.

They are in charge.

We threw a cookie party to celebrate Razzy’s Gotcha Day.

Razzy’s 9th Gotcha Day! I hope that she has enjoyed these 9 years with us as much as we’ve enjoyed having her. ❤️

It’s so scary and fucked up. And it will only get worse if it isn’t stopped.

This convinced me. Watching the Baldwin is what I’m going to do with my rainy Sunday afternoon.
also in the latest episode Alec occasionally uses Spanish phrases in a way that makes it casually clear he has a much better understanding of the language than Hilaria, his wife from Boston who pretends to be a Spaniard

Tux’s sad tale of woe: I was having a cheese stick snack and the girls come in demanding their cheese tax, so I open another one and begin handing out chunks. Tux eventually wanders in, so I gave him the last, biggest chunk, but it FALLS OUT OF HIS MOUTH AND RAZZY SWOOPS IN TO TAKE IT!!

Pretty sure our neighbors thinks of us as the “Myra, quit eating grass” family because we have to shout that every time we let the dogs out. Look at that guilty, grass-eating face! #greyhound #grasseater

Men who say this underestimate how intimidating and mean middle school girls can be. A group of 7th grade girls would break his soul. They could have Rahm Emanuel crying on the floor within the hour. He’d be doing less peeping and more fighting for his life.
Ex-Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel spouts transphobic talking points to Bill Maher.

"Look, in seventh grade, if I had known that I could have said the word ‘They’ and got in the girls bathroom, I would have done it."
Ex-Chicago mayor rips current city leaders for focus on bathroom and locker room instead of crime, education
During HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher," former Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel blasted city leadership for failing the city on safety and educational standards.

We bought Skippy and thought Razzy was dying. She kept walking away and peanut butter is her favorite food ever. Turns out she’s just brand loyal to Jif. All is well with our girl.
sometimes a pb&j hits just right. and not one of your fancy gourmet pb&j. skippy creamy peanut butter, grape jelly from a squeeze bottle, white bread. that's it

This is true and it reminded me I need to bring in $10 for the coffee fund and another $10 for kitchen supplies, like paper towels.
not trying to pick on this guy. this just reminded me that the federal government does not provide coffee to workers. to drink coffee at a federal office you generally have to pay into a "coffee club" that is managed by a staffer who volunteers to collect money and purchase a monthly coffee supply.

The weather is nice so we took off the dogs’ coats and jammies. I’m not used to seeing them walk around the house naked. I’m scandalized.

Alan and I just had a passionate disagreement about the integrity and moral character of Zach Morris.

He was a good friend to Screech, the nerd of the school. When Jessie was addicted to caffeine pills, he put his ambition aside and was there for her! I am staunchly pro-Zach Morris.

It said “find the puppy,” the 2 year old clicked on “S,” but “S” is for “Sis.” I am righteously angry on his behalf. The sis is a f*^%ing puppy!!

Super Mario Maker 1 servers are shutting off April 8th. There is one level that has never been finished. They have 18 days for someone to win it. I don’t play the game, but I’m invested in the drama of it. www.issmmbeatenyet.com

This is a good read.
for Taylor to go from being so eating-disordered she thought she might pass out during performances, to being strong enough to breeze through back-to-back 3-hour stadium shows: we don't get to see that much, and it's significant www.shesabeast.co/the-strength...
The strength of Taylor Swift
A critical analysis/close read of Taylor's relationship with eating and working out. Plus: It's never too late to build muscle; a Murphy-bed-style gym; an online-clothing-scammers explainer. This is L...

Apropos of several things, been searching all week for this fun 1907 article from The Atlantic titled “Why American Marriages Fail.” You’ll never guess why! 🙃

“(1) Woman’s failure to realize that marriage is her work in the world. (2) Her growing individualism. (3) Her lost art of giving.”
Why American Marriages Fail
“A new relationship between the sexes has arisen, a slipshod unchivalrous companionship, which before marriage they nominate ‘good form,’ but which after marriage they illogically discover to be...
