If you're not real into actual scares but still looking for a spooky Halloween game to play, might I recommend Carimara? It's completable in less than an hour and it's a lovely folk horror and captures some great Autumnal vibes without a single jump scare. A brief interactive fable. I loved it.

In 2006 Slovak devs Cypron Studios released Gods: Lands of Infinity, an unusual mix of first-person CRPG with JRPG-like combat.
In 2007 they made an updated version of the game, adding model Martina Jacová as the face of the protagonist - quite literally. Can't remenber anything else like that lol

This might be one of the best issues in this entire run! Not only is it one of the funniest, it also feels the most “locked in” than ever! I mean there were even 2-not 1-TWO moments that made my jaw drop. The opening pages are especially beautiful!
