Cover’s pretty much exactly what you get inside, that’s it, and honestly, that’s perfectly fine. I know Megatron & Optimus have traded blows before but this was an all-out war compared to that first bout. This was basically a Dan Mora art gallery.

Right out the gate, the art is the big seller here. It’s so vibrant and expressive, the way their personalities are portrayed both in art and the writing is really entertaining. It’s also a consistently funny book with a good emotional thruline.

So there were really only like 2 characters we expected to win, and I can at least say I’m glad it was this character. Besides that, this is the most unrelenting issue of the event, it’s as balls-to-the-wall as it should be for an Absolute crossover lol

Oh. My. Fucking. God. I’m actually at a loss for words, this single issue is one of the greatest stories in MacKay’s entire run. The previous series was playing the long game building up to this. The art is so wonderful and the ending 😫

Spider-Noir should obviously be watched in black & white, but I really have to commend the color grading.
They could’ve very easily half-assed it and just turned the b&w off but they actually retuned the visuals so they look pleasant regardless of which version, that’s a conscious effort I admire!
