Leadership is compromised by donors, lobbyists, & effing consultants ahead of THE PEOPLE. Too timid, too protective of norms that the Rs blew away on Day One.

We won Election Tuesday *in spite of them*.

Wow — Senators Van Hollen, Smith, Murphy, Sanders, Warren, Markey, Merkley, Heinrich have created an official internal "Fight Club."

They're challenging Schumer & Gillibrand's leadership, arguing the party is using an old, corporate-friendly playbook insufficient to take on Trump or win elections.

Speaking as someone with vivid childhood memories of my family remaining glued to Fairbanks radio stations for critical community updates and even personal messages in the days following the '64 earthquake, and who later worked in Alaskan broadcasting for 13 years, I find this particularly enraging.
KYUK is the only public radio station in remote Alaska that regularly broadcasts in the Yugtun language, providing a crucial lifeline to the Indigenous communities in the area.

After Congress slashed its budget, the station isn't sure how it'll survive.
