The most insanely frustrating thing about the #ClimateCrisis is how the breakthrough we so clearly need isn’t technological. It’s just a collective willingness, a determination even, to change in ways that would clearly be SO MUCH BETTER than the clear and obvious consequences of NOT changing.

i don't think this is an unpopular opinion. the issue is that this article, and MANY MANY others have continued to miscategorize e-motos as e-bikes.

e-bikes have not "evolved" into e-motos, they've both existed for along but media outlets have refused to note the difference.
My unpopular urbanist opinion is that big, hyperfast two-wheelers are a menace and should be banned from bike lanes/paths (with enforcement).

These things endanger everyone riding a bike or legal e-bike. Worse, they deter some from even trying.
E-bikes have evolved into e-motorcycles. Law enforcement is lagging behind.
Serious injuries are on the rise in emergency rooms around the country, as electric cycles become bigger and faster. Lawmakers and police departments are scrambling to address the problem.

What percentage of this Christian Nation attends church? BLANK FACE (1% for CofE)
Does he know what the Church's views on immigration are? Again NOPE.

"Over 40,000 people die in car crashes in the US every year...neighborhoods are carved up by high-speed traffic. Kids can’t walk to school safely. But someone saw a teenager run a stop sign on an e-bike, so the real crisis must be those darn batteries on two wheels."

April in Scotland?
Gravel and trails round Kirkmichael taking in bits of the #CateranTrail. Even time for a quick dip in the hot tub before a day out with the family.
Lots of off-road routes if you want to avoid mixing with the cars. Will be back to do more trials when time allows.
