Every so often it’s useful to answer some of the questions I get asked on here.

1. Yes they are.
2. Not the whole message, obviously.
3. In the garage, mainly.
4. No, it wouldn’t be practical. Sorry.
5. Purely random.

Cheers, T.

Measured and sensible immigration policy thoughts from the Labour MP for Stroud. More of this please.
We should stop the boats because it's dangerous, and we should stop the scapegoating of immigrants because it's wrong and cruel.

Controlled migration is good for the country, helps build our economy and diversity strengthens our communities. (1/6) 🧵

Good lord.

I think we need to rename AI - from Artificial Intelligence to Artificial Idiot.

The BBC is the biggest thump of soft power the UK has and its reach and influence to the benefit of the country is extraordinary. Destroy it, hugely damage the UK. The same people who helped weaken us over Brexit are seeking to do it again.
Interesting to see so many great British patriots right now begging an American president to bankrupt one of Britain’s last remaining truly national institutions.

35 years later and this stuff looks over-priced even before factoring in inflation. I doubt many people currently spend more than £400 on a TV at current prices.

'A Tavern Brawl.' (c1953) James Fitton often captured human behaviour at its most unguarded: the awkward, the humorous, the slightly chaotic, people as they are, not as they pretend to be, quibbling, laughing, drinking, drifting, or something a little more physical.

German friends:
A friend of mine lives in the US. Their 104 yr old mum is dying.
She fled the Nazis in WW2 and lived in the US every since.
In her final days/ weeks(?) there's need for gentle, soothing songs from her childhood, so from roughly 90-100 yrs ago.
Can you suggest any?
Thank you.
