Tucha will be a Black Sea Fleet ship, so a late in the year commissioning likely means that she will remain in the Caspian Sea until spring, as the Volga-Don Canal is closed over the winter, usually from around December 1st.
Project 22800 Karakurt-class corvette Tucha is undergoing state trials in the Caspian Sea.
It is planned that this ship will join the Russian Navy by the end of this year, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
