Twitter accounts are based in Russia. BlueSky accounts are based in homes with, frankly, too many books, plants, obsolete cables, and pieces of rustic pottery, that could do with a bit of a tidying up, to be honest.

what about... just spitballing here... a WW2-adjacent /-extending movie (or tv series) about the US having to use the same spirit of "we're all in this together, and must work and sacrifice together" to deal with a postwar sea monster crisis
I think its pretty clear that ww2 movies are in fact load bearing in the culture and we probably need to mandate a few every year

I went to school for way too long, got three useless degrees capped by an MFA in poetry (poetry for Chrissakes) so what else was I gonna do? Then teaching for 20 years almost killed me and I said to a well connected corporate pal “I will do any job that gets me out of this.”

Despite my RTs I have no rooting interest for Yale, I just think it's fun they're in the FCS playoffs after basically inventing the sport.
Alas my alma mater (Nova) has repeatedly avoided attempts to move up to the FCS (and I dunno where they'd put the stadium if they did)
