It's pretty funny that Trump has engineered a geo-political game of chicken between two societies - the US and China - where the winner will be the society most willing to withstand economic pain and inconveience in furtherance of some future national collective goal. Not really a US strong suit!

I’ve been told the House at the moment is looking like 220 R-213 D, Dems are in a decent position to win the final two seats to get to 220-215, and then the two Trump appointments would take it down to 218-215.

One thing I’m trying to understand is just how much of a bubble I’m in. Almost every person I know well enough to have discussed it voted for Harris. Even my most conservative friends. That’s why I felt so optimistic near the end.
