Liberals love a good speech, because it makes them feel good while doing nothing materially to disrupt a genocidal status quo.

The Massachusetts governor, the city, and the university needs to drop everything to locate and free this girl and make sure this doesn't happen again.

This is DEFCON-1. If they do this to someone who wrote an op-ed in a college newspaper, they will do this to anyone they don't like.
Video of the international student at Tufts being arrested by "federal authorities" in Massachusetts has been released and it's terrifying.

They're not even uniformed officers. Just secret police thugs in hoodies and masks.

Our collective reaction to this example of fascist policing is a litmus test for the movement. No one is coming to save us.

#FreeMahmoud
UPDATE—Mahmoud's attorney says they do NOT know where he is.
They were first told he was sent to an ICE facility in Elizabeth, NJ. But when his 8-month-pregnant wife tried to visit him, she was told he's not there.
They've received reports he may be sent as far away as Louisiana.

Many US flags waved at the anti-Trump rally in Denver over the weekend. I appreciate the energy of people protesting Musk et al but I have no interest in "reclaiming" this flag.

USA has always been a genocidal settler colonial project, and our goal should be nothing less than collective liberation.

This is a great win and an example of the type of really meaningful organizing that can be done at the local level.

Support your local tenants union!
We disrupted their meeting in January, we pushed for a month, today we waited six hours to give public comment, and then finally WE WON eviction protections for all tenants in LA County who were economically affected by the fires!
More than a month into the fires, LA County is finally voting on some eviction protections. Join us on Tuesday at 500 W Temple at noon and/or submit public comment and send emails today!

BREAKING: Philadelphia workers have won the first Whole Foods union under Amazon with UFCW.

Since Amazon bought the chain, workers have lost benefits and felt the squeeze.

Now they're fighting back against the multi-trillion dollar giant and hoping this win will be the first of many.

🧵 Before you join that National Org or Mass Org.

Build a team of people you trust intimately & share goals with. It’s safer to go in groups to protest actions, but your group can also operate independently while maintaining its own values!

Build an affinity first.

Something we don’t talk about enough: the spiritual damage that comes from being advertised to every moment of our waking lives.

We can’t help but internalize the idea that scarcity exists naturally, that everything is for sale, that we are not enough.

Fuck this cheap cynicism. I reject it.

"We’ve spent long enough losing the class war; the pendulum is starting to swing powerfully back towards the people, and it’s up to us to take up the task of continuing to push it towards a better world. So let’s get to work this year. Solidarity."

solidarity ⚡️
It's easy to despair. 2024 was a tough year, and 2025 will be tough too. But last year ended with historic Amazon, Starbucks, and rent strikes. These get less attention than elections, but this wave of class warfare has the potential to change history.
