We need fast, frequent, electrified regional rail that competes with driving to meet our climate goals. Buses, light rail, and metros are great but they are the wrong tool for reducing the bulk of VMT.
California trips between 10-50 miles account for 26% of all trips but 50% of all VMT.

Our priest today: In the days ahead, many people will show you hate. We cannot respond with hate but must show love & charity. As Mary, knowing what would happen, presented Christ in the temple, we, now more than ever, most be the light of Christ in the world. Because love is not weakness but power.

The White House says:
- 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada

What Americans feel:
- Fewer options at the store
- Higher prices for all of us, especially on food

He promised to cut costs. Now he's implementing a Trump Tax on our families.

The chaos continues.

I'm not an AI expert. But IMO, the biggest take away is that our biggest AI companies tried to make competition about how much money they could spend. Locking out others.

Deepseek turned that upside down. Which could open the door to many smarter, more entrepreneurial competitors
Curious what you think about DeepSeek and how it could affect Trump’s ‘nose distance’ plan to rule the world.
