Feels like I'm seeing a lot of new to Bluesky artists lately so just a lovingly and humbly offered PSA:
There is a pretty hardcore group of users here who won't repost or engage with images that don't include at least some basic alt text. Alt text = more engagement opportunities

And yes, vaccines help…lessen the severity if and when you do catch them. They aren’t sterilizing.
That doesn’t mean they’re unimportant. It just means they should not be your only layer of protection—and certainly not your family’s.

We always see a surge of infectious disease, including COVID, RSV, etc etc around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Unless you want to gift your fam with a few weeks sick this year, mask up as you travel!

When I first got here alt text was a huge part of the art culture here. I've gotten very sad to see it fading and I'd like it to resurge.
