I really, really, really wish that old white men I've never met would stop interrupting my day to relate to me apropos of literally nothing. A paltry complaint, but it's very tiring. I do not have it in me to humor you or pretend that having to deal with you is anything other than a nuisance.

Sci-fi portrays eugenicists as brilliant masterminds who seed themselves into prominent scientific institutions to manipulate the direction of progress, when real eugenicists are inept anti-science dorks with no tact. Like, look at RFK. Dumb oafish loser who owes everything to his family's legacy.

In the course of easing federal pressure from New York, Mamdani shook up a lot of GOP propaganda with that press op, and Trump's people are megaphoning it like they got one over on him. I'm always incredibly wary of any politician, but this just looks like incredibly brilliant political maneuvering.

Honestly, I think all that happened is that Trump is easily charmed, and he's gotten so used to dealing with losers that have absolutely no charisma that he was just happy to feel like his old socialite self. I mean he always just looks so bored and tired now. Like being back on old social circuit.

A lot has been made of fascist infighting before ignorant that it's fuel for the furnace. These people have no real loyalty to one another. It's part of the function of fascism. But I do believe what we're seeing now are the first real cracks. However, I don't think it's the beginning of the end.
