Heard about an Irish scheme that pays £70k to anyone willing to set up home on an offshore island – so felt duty-bound to go and scope out a couple...

Just 100 more days and the peloton will be back where it truly belongs.
Just 100 more days until the Flemish climbs and cobblestones are once again lined with passionate cycling fans.

Alison Jackson's surprise move to St Michel-Preference Home-Auber93 has just made a bit more sense: Premier Tech confirms that it will sponsor the team for the next two years to further support Canadian cycling. Notably, not as a title sponsor, paving the way for naming rights at another team.

Everything that @barneyronay.bsky.social says here applies equally to cycling. The Israel team has been the focus of widescale protests that have undermined it while UAE Team Emirates have collected almost every prize worth having with barely a hint of criticism or scrutiny

Of course it's not just the UAE involved, UK and USA are behind this too, plus probably many other countries funding and supplying the war

Could this be because they were hoping Gee would stay onboard with a new Canadian focused project but have received legal advice or info from UCI that he is going to be able to leave anyway, the straw that broke the camel's back perhaps, project is net negative for them now

A little thread.

We have very few professional bike races left on open roads in NL. There is a population density of about 500 people per km2 which makes it one of the densest populated countries in Europe. To compare, France has 121 but Belgium has almost 400 so this not he only reason.
