There's something odd about doing "lists of people" but I think this list is a must follow for anyone who want to discover great people talking about games you've never heard about !

I will try to update it in the future and if anyone has suggestions please send them.

Rebecca and her companion Jennell Jaquays where pioneers who helped to shape many games that defined genres we still enjoy today.

Let's not forget them, especially in times when those in power wants to erase the very existence of people like them.

It's on the first 5 years (yes, YEARS) of making a game!

So, today I'm announcing a new book project... and doing a call for papers: crpgbook.wordpress.com/2025/10/31/t...

It's an anthology of video game history outside the usual US perspective - an accessible & exciting panorama of different realities - and I'll pay 300 USD per article.

Please share :)
The Video Game History Expansion Pack – Pitch your story
Today I’m putting my money where my mouth is and launching a new project — a book focused on game history outside of the usual North American perspectives.

Calling it now: 2028-2033 is going to be all about indie darlings dominating charts not because the quality has improved, but because the offerings are bare enough that more indie gems finally broke through to mainstream awareness.

For gamers who aren't in game dev, you should know that we are in one of the worst periods in game dev history in terms of industry stability and the reason you're not seeing that play out through products is because the average development window of games is 3-7 years so it hasn't reached you yet.

It's happening tonight! 🎃

Get exited and share this around, because I'm honestly nervous how well this is gonna do considering it's been 8 months since my last video.
IT'S A HALLOWEEN MIRACLE!

My new video, a review of the 2024 workplace safety horror STILL WAKES THE DEEP, is premiering tomorrow at 8PM Irish Time. Make sure to set your reminders because after quite a few months working on it, this is going to be very good!

Tales of the Abyss (PS2)

I've always the look of the Tales of games with their pastel colors and fairly simple 3D models and still manage simple yet evocative scenes.

Runs on PCSX2
- 4x resolution upscaling
- Fast CDVD for faster load times
- V-Sync (Recommended)
- Anti-Blur
- Scanline Filter

Cool stuff even if what is likely an AI upscale is an approximation of what the original could have looked in HD. A big issue with remakes is the lack of consistency between 3D and background as it often kills the visual consistency that originally existed.
ICYMI: There is finally an HD background upgrade pack for Chrono Cross!🌴🌊 Worth mentioning again since this game seriously has some of the prettiest locations you can imagine. (Scott streamed it and it played well too!).
