Trump is losing vast majority of legal cases. But, his admin barges on, regardless. None of the rulings seem to have effect, because admin just ignores them, or plays for time with specious arguments, which require new court hearings. The US legal system wasn’t designed to handle such bad faith.

Under the applicable legal standard defining an arrest, the senator was arrested. Without charges. He was thereafter released because he had committed no crime. This was not a mere detention.
