If, as someone still supporting Labour, you genuinely want to avoid a Reform government, stop complaining about people calling out Labour's inhumane policies and start challenging those policies. Otherwise, first off, all you are doing is increasing the salience of Reform's arguments. 3/

The 750-page document also has stinging criticism of “toxic and chaotic” culture inside Boris Johnson’s Downing Street – which it said the then PM. actively embraced – in which loudest voices held sway and women were sidelined.

Having Johnson & Cummings in Downing Street when Covid struck was, just like Brexit, an entirely avoidable disaster caused largely by utterly appalling journalism. And now exactly the same clowns, arses & bigots with bylines are rolling out the red carpet for Farage.

The news that a national lockdown could have been avoided is shattering. Kemi Badenoch should apologise on behalf of the Conservatives.

I’m afraid to say they are doing what people want to see from the government to stop people coming here across the channel people are fed up seeing this
What TF is Starmer doing?

He and Mahmood have opened the flood gates to fascism.

You never beat the far right by trying to neuter them... All they've done is shift the Overton window to more extreme inhumane persecution.

The left can shut up people are fed up with people coming over the channel they really are
November 17, 2025 at 9:16 PM
No the government must do this to stop the boats people are sick and fed up with people coming across the channel
The govt's proposed new asylum laws are impractical, ineffectual, and outright cruel. Aping the rhetoric of Reform won't fix the real issues in this country; it will only stir up more false divisions and endanger already vulnerable communities.

They will
The main question I have for Labour is, what will you do when the polls don’t improve for you after this?

Would be fantastic
Well here it is!

The UK is considering joining PEM.

Not A European customs union, but offers big benefits to trade across Europe.

Not THE Customs Union, but something many people were calling for the UK to join as an alternative a few months back.

So pleased to see it being considered.

A new 'work and study visa' route for refugees is to be set up as an alternative to standard asylum route.

It is part of the government's plans to open up safe and legal routes - and importantly a way that allows people to work sooner, which many have called for.

Absolutely correct Labour must be very tough or they will be toast
I’m pro immigration. I vote Labour. I support a strong approach to our borders. I also support safe routes for those fleeing war torn countries. Asylum must be fair to all. I trust Labour to get the balance right. It may take a few iterations. It beats anything Reform advocate
