Plaid 37%

In my opinion, Superman is the best film of 2025. There are probably better films out there from a technical stand point, but the way it made me feel - that being a person, someone with morals, someone who wants to just help others is still worth something.

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

Despite the headline it’s not George RR Martin personally going for them cos he’s rich and famous. It’s all of us.

The test case used his work, but it’s about the plain-as-day issue that ANY generative AI ignores and infringes copyright, by passing off.

That’s a win for basic law.
Judge rules George R.R. Martin and other authors can sue OpenAI for copyright infringement

• Said ChatGPT generated 'Game of Thrones' content similar enough to infringe copyright

• OpenAI’s motion to dismiss was denied

Reminds me of the efforts made to resist UK immigration enforcement in Glasgow, a few years ago.

They were more persistent than these ICE goons, but could never have overcome the community. They rely on intimidation driving inaction.
This video of Chicagoans intervening to save a man from being abducted off the streets by ICE is making the rounds on Instagram.

Community action works.
