This is great, but please, if you can, continue to donate to food banks and raise funds as people still struggle.

I'd say it's 2025 and we should be well past this, but since we're not: titles like "aunt" and "uncle" are used a lot in BIPOC communities, regardless of whether or not there's actual blood ties. Been calling a ton of women unrelated to me "auntie" since age 3, and got dinged by Mom when I didn't.
In a bit of a tense moment, one of the La Mega co-hosts presses Mamdani on why he "lied" about his "aunt" having been scared to ride the subway after 9/11 while wearing a hijab.
