If anyone was still pretending this isn’t just about excluding trans kids from public life, the Trump administration just opened a Title IX investigation into a Maine school district because a trans student is on a *co-ed* cheerleading squad.

I don't have the energy to read this right now. But this past year has been horrific. All, and I mean ALL my trans friends from childhood are DEAD. I know of trans kids who are DEAD.

This is a genocide and I'm tired of people looking away from it. I'm tired of the silence.

I'm exhausted.

Emma Hilton is one of the leading anti-trans athlete scientists and her most used "study" claiming trans women have an inherent biological advantage does not use any data from any trans women.
[“GC” voice] I’ll see your 3500 scientists and their paltry empirical evidence and raise you a teleological and positively creationist-adjacent theory of sex in which humans (evolved organisms) are comparable to buses (designed objects), with unchangeable destinations.

Sigh. Since pieces are going around using "medieval peasant" as a perjorative again, here's your reminder that they were way better organized, more rebellious, less superstitious, more aware of sanitation and way more ingenious than you've probably been taught. I've written about this *a lot.*

The organized astroturfing and financing of these extreme ideologies is one of the key stories of our time
Anti-trans demagogue and fifth place swimmer Riley Gaines earned $470,000+ last year from a conservative non-profit.

Notably, $420k was incentive-based.

A neat little window into the way the transphobic grift is being compensated.

I wonder what the per-post rate is?

Something I have to reiterate is that you are being straight up lied to about trans people and our healthcare on an unfathomable scale, this instance reporting is already being torn to shreds by other people commenting, but the frequency of this kind of reporting is astonishing, it's neverending.
You might think from the headline that this is a story about a trans kid suffering medical consequences from a large drug dose but nope! It is just an interview with an estranged father who is angry that his child happily transitioned.
