Checked out THE CHRISTMAS SHOWDOWN on OWN/HBOMax and while it’s nothing special, and sadly about party planning, everyone in it is good and I liked that the central “love” story is about the friendship. It also looked really good. OWN has stepped up their production game since last I checked in.

Will note TWELVE DATES ’TIL CHRISTMAS is also effortlessly diverse, in various ways, in manner that feels very un-Hallmark, extremely refreshing, and like something that likely won't be happening moving forward at the rapidly retreating network.
Will also add that, depending on how the final episodes play out, limited series TWELVE DATES ’TIL CHRISTMAS could end up being my favorite Hallmark thing of the year. It definitely LOOKS the best, has the best cast, and the most intriguing premise.

It's not that Snowball Protocol is bad, so much that they seem to have entirely dropped the premise of Prep & Landing and reduced this to a by-the-numbers cartoon about a bunch of silly Christmas elves.
