This entire grift relies on convincing people that they don't know how to do the things they have always known how to do, and ironically, if it works, we will, in a very short amount of time, forget how to do all the things we have always known how to do.

@governorwalz.mn.gov and @ltgovflanagan.mn.gov this is on you. Your MMB policies are inflexible and inequitable. Repeal RTO now
Remote policies helped women work. In-office mandates and child care costs are driving them back out.
Low flexibility and high child care costs are pushing mothers with young kids to the sidelines after they joined the workforce in record numbers during the pandemic.

Media need new standards when talking about mass shooters. Fixation on name, identity, motive, etc. only encourages more of these terrible actions. So while we work towards assault weapons bans and getting rid of our gun loving supreme court, start with this:

Opinion | The media should stop giving notoriety to shooters
"Stop centering the despicable actions of mass shooters," Kelly Moller writes. "Their perspectives do not matter."

We deserve a city government that works for all of us—where decisions are made based on what’s right for the people of our city, not based on who is most loyal to the mayor.

We deserve better.

The pottery studio next to the taco place has had a sign up for ages that says "Could we please give the police to the grandmothers?". It made an unfortunately good backdrop.

O'Hara was quoted in the paper *today* saying MPD didn't have enough staff for an 8-person investigative unit for non-fatal shootings—the same program St. Paul is using to cut its gun related homicides in half. Got plenty of guys to run interference for ICE tho.
