So much of it is just people undressing normal photos of real women without their consent, including young girls. Can we please just stop posting on that extremely creepy platform.

This is exactly how my cousin justified her use of it and accepting a death of a thousand cuts even when those cuts are slow and spread out drives me crazy

Slowly realizing even my political friends who say they hate AI are using it to speed up tasks like email writing, formatting grant applications etc

so while most of you have been absolutely lovely — and thanks for that btw! — it is sadly time for the quarterly reminder: if you are being "playfully" rude in the replies of someone you have not met, you are just being rude. you have not yet earned the good faith required for joking rudeness!

Honestly this was one of the most challenging essays to make. Benatar's anti-natalism contains multiple very clever sleights of hand and mistruths built on top of each other. Sarah was really suffering and sick through the pregnancy. Plus my autistic hyper fixation went into overdrive.
just wanted to share this by my good friends The Leftist Cooks: all about anti-natalism & the ideology behind it.

this is a rare work of actual, novel philosophy on the topic: we are lucky that this is available for free on YouTube. Neilly even wrote a book to accompany it.

At a certain level of British society there is only one crime it's possible to commit: Failure to Sufficiently Launder and Glorify the Ruling Class
Once every 20 years or so, the director-general of the BBC is forced to resign for being insufficiently rightwing. Alastair Milne in 1987. Greg Dyke in 2004. Tim Davie in 2025. The great irony is that the BBC was in all cases profoundly biased towards established power. But just not biased enough …

1. Signalis

Let's start this off with a bang, because Signalis is a game that's so good, it helped set a new bar for horror games in my estimation. You've probably heard plenty of other people sing its praises, and I'm not gonna be saying any different, it's really all that. Now go find your wife!

2. Look Outside

Horror RPG with turn-based combat and some of the most gorgeously grotesque pixelart I've ever seen, magnificently offputting creature designs, it's astonishingly good and still might be my game of the year. I can't recommend it highly enough, and it's a steal even at full price!
