I need Ohio journalists to do better!!! Irresponsible reporting is taking this misleading amendment to library funding in the budget and telling people the fight it over. The amendment plays a game of semantics. It preserves the PLF IN NAME ONLY, changing how it works to get around public outcry. 😡

ohio has the 2nd largest library network in the country with one of the most robust interlibrary loan systems. instead of championing this, republicans want to make their constituents, especially children & the elderly, suffer. this should be a huge point that mainstream media should be hitting at

State legislature is going after the library funding now. The Columbus library system is a gem. It’s literally the only thing people are jealous of when they visit me from out of state. If you’re in Ohio, call your state representative & tell them to return funding to the governor’s original budget
