Having Johnson & Cummings in Downing Street when Covid struck was, just like Brexit, an entirely avoidable disaster caused largely by utterly appalling journalism. And now exactly the same clowns, arses & bigots with bylines are rolling out the red carpet for Farage.

I know there’ll be no consequences, the narcissistic killer clown will grope his merry way through life never comprehending nor caring about the devastation he’s caused, but seeing the atrocity we all witnessed finally reported as fact is… something. I guess.

Covid inquiry live updates: UK did 'too little, too late', leading to thousands more Covid deaths, says inquiry
The inquiry says an earlier lockdown could have saved 23,000 lives in the first wave in England - and lockdown could have been avoided altogether with earlier interventions.

Well, ABBA did not disappoint as always. An immensely enjoyable day and spectacular evening.
Thoughts of those who should’ve been there were toasted and remembered.
A wonderful time 😊

Cost of abolishing university tuition fees = £17bn

Cost of making care homes free = £8.3bn

Cost of making trains free to use = £11bn

Cost of hitting net zero = £30.7bn

The annual cost of the above is £67bn, which happens to be the amount of money given in tax relief to the richest 20% of the UK.

Of all the dreadful journeys home, it could’ve been much worse.

Good to be home and looking forward to a nights sleep.
Fingers crossed the power will be back on for a cuppa in the morning! 😊
Could be worse… we had a great London trip and saw fab people… 😊😊😊

Perhaps the UK media became too addicted to 'sensationalist rumour/lies/innuendo/gossip/cloak-n-dagger' skullduggery....and, instead of investigating & reporting the truth, is now content to be a 3rd rate soap opera... forgetting we, the tax-paying public, are unserved favourably.

I never understood the appeal of ‘Emu’.
I never understood why Rod didn’t have a series of broken fingers.
But I did like the false arm he carried ‘Emu’ on.

A radio programme like the Shipping Forecast but it’s called Bin Day and it just reads out every single council in the country’s bin schedule

Fab day with the Blakes 7 darlings. 😊 Great people and great friends there, a few snatched ‘hello-and-can’t-catch-up-with-them’, some “Dr Who” people missed - but a great time as always.
Looking forward to getting home 😊

Who would ever have thought I’d be watching Blakes 7 on the big screen… so impressed with new effects, sound etc…. Wow.

Ah good. Humans who listen to music/shout in the quiet coach… - upgraded & now an ‘explainer-mum’ loudly sharing a call & ‘ no, we aren’t there yet/trees/sky’ with ignored child, coughing but no hanky/hand over the mouth…..
Earphones at max.
